So this year on August 24th I was not in a hospital worried about giving birth and what kind of my I would be, but at home celebrating with many of our close friends and family Jake's first birthday! This is the face that Michael and I were greeted with on his birthday...I think he knew it was his special day.

Then there was the birthday cake....
Here's an expression that only lasted a few weeks, but boy does it leave a lasting impression!
